A Century of Excellence: Celebrating 100 Years of Loyola College in Dallas

I had the privilege of attending the Loyola College Centennial Celebration in Dallas, TX, honoring 100 years of our alma mater.

With nearly 300 alumni spanning generations—from the 1960s to the class of 2024—the event was a beautiful blend of nostalgia, inspiration, and connection.

The hall was filled with a wealth of knowledge, with Loyola graduates thriving across every field—doctors, engineers, business owners, and senior executives.

Highlights included powerful panel discussions:
Women Who Inspire the World: Empowered Across Continents – spotlighting stories of transition from India to the U.S., career growth, challenges, and balancing life.

Advancements in Healthcare Therapeutics – with cutting-edge insights into AI in neurosurgery and addressing diabetic complications.

We were also inspired by a moving keynote from Vijay Amritraj, a proud Loyola alumnus, whose words of encouragement resonated deeply.

The celebrations were made even more special delicious food from Kuppanna Restaurant, thoughtfully served across sessions. The music by Mojo was nostalgic and every one of us join on the dance floor.

And perhaps the most meaningful highlight: raising $60,000 for scholarships to support Loyola students facing hardships. That spirit of giving back truly embodied the Loyola legacy.

It was an emotional, fun-filled two days—a celebration not just of Loyola’s past, but of the enduring bonds, shared pride, and collective impact of its alumni worldwide.
